Amygdala Privacy Policy

Amygdala is a gentle anxiety + depression support app created by Crystal Roberts (GlowCode Studio). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Quick version: we only use your data to make the app work (save your tools/journal/letter). We don’t sell your data.

Scope

This policy applies to the Amygdala mobile/web app and the website hosted at cpriss1979.github.io/amygdala.io.

What We Collect

Amygdala does not ask for your real name, physical address, or precise location. Here’s what we may store:

Account info (Firebase Authentication)

If you create an account, we store your email and a Firebase user ID so you can sign in. (Your password is handled by Firebase — it is not stored by us as plain text.)

App content you choose to save

Items you add in Tools, entries in Journal, and content in Letter to Self.

Optional preferences

Accessibility settings like text size is stored locally on your device.

How We Use Your Data

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Amygdala is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
