Amygdala — Terms of Use

1. Who I Am

My name is Crystal Roberts (GlowCode Studio). I created Amygdala as a supportive wellness companion for people facing anxiety, depression, stress, panic, and life's everyday challenges.

Amygdala provides a variety of self-help tools including journaling, calming exercises, personal coping toolkits, encouragement features, educational resources, and other activities designed to support emotional well-being. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain how you may use the Amygdala app and related pages.

By installing, accessing, or using Amygdala, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Not Medical, Psychiatric, or Crisis Care

Amygdala is a self-help and wellness tool only. It is not a substitute for:

If you are in crisis, thinking about self-harm, feeling unsafe, experiencing severe emotional distress, or believe you may be at risk of harming yourself or others, contact emergency services, a crisis hotline, or a qualified healthcare professional immediately. Do not rely on this app in an emergency.

Amygdala lets you store content such as journal entries, tool lists, letter, and settings. You remain the owner of your content. The app processes/stores it only to provide the features you choose to use. We don’t sell your data.

6. Data Storage & Privacy

Details are in the Amygdala Privacy Policy. In short: some data may be stored locally, and signed-in users may store content in Firestore under their user ID.

Unless otherwise noted, the app’s design, branding, and code are owned by GlowCode Studio (Crystal Roberts). Personal, non-commercial use only.

Amygdala is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlowCode Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

12. Ending Your Use

You may stop using Amygdala at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. The effective date will be updated at the top.
